Safety/Sickness
- With the exception of drop-off classes, Parents Night Out, Camp and specified special events, children must be within arms reach of a parent or caregiver at all times. However, parents may relax in the café while their children play if their children are at least 3 years old. Parents are responsible for their children’s safety and behavior. “ Town Officials” are there to assist children with equipment and toys as well as to reinforce the “Town” rules.
- The Building Zone area is strictly for children 3 and under. All children must be accompanied by an adult in this area.
- If child is attending a drop-off class or event, it is the responsibility of the parent to add or remove the names of persons authorized to drop off and pick up children.
- Please keep sick children at home. We reserve the right to send a child home if they are showing any signs of illness. We appreciate you understanding and abiding by this rule.
- Playtown Café strives to provide a safe environment for your children to play, learn and explore. Members and guests acknowledge that Playtown Café has limited ability to control the conduct of all of its patrons. Members and guests accept the risks of injury inherent in any playground setting. Members and guests assume full responsibility for him/herself and children. Members and guests hold harmless Playtown Café and all of its officers, shareholders, owners, representatives, employees and other affiliates from any and all liability for any injuries or damages that they or their children may suffer in connection with the activities sponsored by Playtown Café.
- Members and guests release Playtown Café and its staff from all liability with respect to emergent care for injuries or illness. Playtown Café does not provide medical care beyond simple First Aid. If a child or parent is in need of emergency care, Playtown staff will call the police or hospital for assistance.
- Members and guests agree that a parent or caregiver will remain at Playtown Café at all times while their child is on the premises unless child is of age 4 or older and is attending a specified drop-off event.
- No adult will be allowed entry without a child.
Valuables
- We ask that you do not bring anything of personal or monetary value into the facility. If a Member or guest does bring in valuables, he/she is solely responsible for their safekeeping. Playtown Café is not responsible for the loss or damage of any personal belongings.
Payment
- Fees for admission are due upon entering. Membership cards will not be given without payment in full. Birthday deposits must be given at time of reservation. Balance is due at the close of the party. Playtown Café accepts the following forms of payment:
- Cash – accepted in person only
- Credit card – Visa, Mastercard or American Express. Payment can be given over the phone, internet or in person.
- Checks will NOT be accepted.
Refunds
- No refunds will be issued for memberships. Memberships are non-transferable. No refunds will be given for special events or classes unless Playtown Café cancelled or modified the event such that Member or guest could no longer attend. No refunds will be given for birthday parties.
Cancellations
- Playtown Café reserves the right to cancel or modify classes, staff and special events.
Food & Beverage
- Members and guests are prohibited from bringing in outside food and beverage.
- Playtown Café is aware of food allergy concerns. We ask that you only order food that you and your children are not allergic to. We also ask you to refrain from sharing your food with others without knowing their allergy history.
